The pool also serves an as after-work venue and a place where you can bring your own adult beverage and dinner to grill or just order pizza. At the end of the season, before the water level is lowered for winter, dogs are invited for their own pool party. Even if you dont own a dog, you would find this entertaining.The Shouse Village outdoor season ends with our annual Shouse Day on Labor Day weekend. The SVCA organizes and sponsors this large-scale, all-day event for our homeowners, including a bar-b-que, water slide, games, and a professional DJ. Residents are asked to bring side dishes, and volunteer for various aspects of the event. Colvin Run Elementary School is just across Towlston Rd and we have a dedicated School Crossing Guard in front of the Community Center...always fun to watch the first-day-of-school parade through the neighborhood.
